Biography

 I have been blessed to have worked at the Ranches Academy since 2019 as a T.A. I have been in 5th grade and 2nd grade, and loved working with both grades! I completed my dual degree in December 2023 for Elementary and Special Education. I did part of my student teaching in the 2nd grade class, and then completed my Special Education portion at Vista Heights Middle School in their Social, Emotional, Behavioral classroom. After finishing student teaching, Vista hired me part time as a Resource teacher for the end of 2022-2023 school year. Last year was my first full  year teaching Special Education at Ranches.

Special Education is near and dear to my heart. I have 4 amazing kids, and my 21 year old son is basically non-verbal and has Autism. Being his mother has been a great education in empathy and learning to advocate for those that can't advocate for themselves. My husband and I love to spend time with our kids and doing karaoke.
