I grew up in rural Arkansas. I played varsity basketball, and I loved being a member of the Future Farmers of America organization. I come from a history of teachers: my grandfather, father, mother and both of my sisters have all worked in education. I fell in love with books when I was seven years old, but I never imagined that it was what my career would involve. I graduated from Brigham Young University in 2023 with a degree in English and Creative Writing. I have since worked at the Saratoga Springs Public Library along with volunteering at charter schools all over Utah and Salt Lake County. I love being able to help others find enjoyment and love through the reading of a good book!
My husband, Quentin, and I have been married for seven years and have lived in Saratoga Springs for four years. Quentin works in marketing. We spend our free time with family, going hiking, boating, pickleballing, and traveling. We have a dog named Ekko, and he goes with us on many of our adventures.
I am so excited for this school year to start so that we can get to reading! And, hopefully, learn something along the way!
