Mrs. Olson

Second Grade

Hello! My name is Myranda Olson. I am a second grade teacher at The Ranches Academy.

I grew up in Midvale, Utah and attended Hillcrest High School. After graduation, I attended Utah Valley University. While earning my teaching degree, I was also part of the UVU Dance team. During this time I met my amazing husband Andrew and we were married in 2018. I graduated from UVU with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. After graduating, my husband and I moved to Phoenix, Arizona where I taught 4th grade for the past three years. We decided to relocate back to Utah to be closer to family and friends. In my free time I enjoy watching movies, reading, shopping, dancing, and spoiling my golden retriever named Ranger. 

Helping students see how what they learn in the classroom can be applied in real-world situations is one of my favorite things. I love working with students and creating positive relationships. I am so excited to be joining The Ranches teaching team, and I look forward to working with so many wonderful people!

Mrs. Olson has a professional teaching license in secondary education and an associates teaching license in elementary education.
