Mrs. Miller

Second Grade

I am soon to be Mrs. Miller (formerly Miss Buchanan). I have lived in Eagle Mountain since I was four years old, and actually attended The Ranches Academy from third to sixth grade! I’ve been with my love, Gavin, since 2014. We have a little girl named Macklee, and an Australian Shepherd named Blitz. In my free time I enjoy reading, binging tv shows, crafting, hiking, camping, and dancing.

I have worked at The Ranches Academy since 2015. Since then I’ve been a fourth grade TA, a second grade TA, a third grade TA, an interventionist for Kindergarten, and now a second grade teacher. While working at The Ranches Academy, I earned my Bachelors in Elementary Education in 2021 at Western Governors University. I’ve known I’ve wanted to be in education since elementary school, when I’d come home and teach my poor unwilling little sister all day. I have always had a love for education, and want to share that with others.

Mrs. Miller has an Associates teaching license and has met the requirements of a highly qualified educator.
