Mrs. Buttars

Sixth Grade

I’m so excited to be back teaching at the Ranches Academy. I started teaching at the Ranches in 2009. I taught 4th grade for eight years and then I’ve been teaching 2nd grade ever since. I spent the last couple of years teaching 2nd grade at Ascent Academy in Saratoga Springs, but I missed my small Ranches family and I’m looking forward to teaching the leaders of the school. 


My husband, Ryan and I have three amazing kids that keep growing up. My oldest daughter, Hannah got married last October and they are living in Vernal. Abby will be a Senior at Cedar Valley and my baby, Isaac will be a Sophmore at Cedar Valley. We have lived in Eagle Mountain for about 20 years now and we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We love playing games together, swimming, watching soccer games,  hosting lots of parties, being outdoors, and we all love spoiling our sweet dog, Ollie. 

I know it takes a village to raise our kids in this crazy world, so let’s work together to make this school year one to remember.
