Biography
Mrs. Buchanan
Third Grade
I was raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah and moved all the way across the valley. I met my love (Rob) in 1995 and we were married a year later. I have three beautiful babies: Kylie, Kortney, and Kade. I am a blessed grandma to two sweet little girls and one on the way.
My hobbies include shopping, sewing, reading, playing card games, sleeping (I am an olympic nap taker), and spending time with the family.
I have always loved education and started working in education at an alternative high school in 2001. In 2005, I started working at The Ranches Academy and have held many positions during my time here. I made the decision to get my K-8 teaching license and graduated from WGU. I adore teaching your children and being a part of their education. Thank you for the opportunity.
I now have my STEM endorsement through BYU, am actively working on my ESL endorsement, and am excited to bring new, exciting things into the classroom.
Mrs. Buchanan has a level 2 teaching license and has met the requirements to be a highly qualified educator.
